Cartoon Dandy and the icy whites

W is for white. When Cartoon Dandy came across Kristen McMenamy on the cover of Love magazine, he became obsessed with her icy white hair colour. So, after endless hours of foil and bleach, his hair ended up having the desired shade of nordic blond. Keep in mind that no matter how much you love the colour, the procedure can be harsh for the hair, so go for it only if you have strong thick hair. Having your natural colour to start with (and not some crazy red for example) could also be very helpful. Make sure you have a trim afterwards (in this case I gave Cartoon a totally new haircut) and also be prepared for a lot of homework a.k.a. conditioning and using a shampoo that reduces unwanted yellow tones. It is definitely not an easy job being an icy white blonde but this colour really is irresistible and a classic that never really goes out of fashion (when combined with the right haircut) . Plus it’s one of the major colour trends of 2011. Let’s take a look at some iconic white blond(e)s.
